Our school is a small primary school in the township of Glenreagh in north-eastern NSW. It is situated halfway between Grafton and Coffs Harbour on the Orara River in picturesque rainforest country.
It was established in 1887. Our school mission statement is "learn by doing in a safe and caring environment." We believe education is a shared responsibility. We aim to help our students develop: a sense of enjoyment and satisfaction from learning; in all curriculum areas; an ability to communicate effectively; a coherent set of values; a sense of personal and social responsibility for actions and decisions; self-reliance; a sense of cultural identity; a feeling of belonging to the wider community; a caring attitude towards others; an ability to form satisfying relationships.
